Drake and Jordan met at a political convention in July of 2021. Drake was interested in Jordan so he got her number before the convention ended. They texted off and on and then Drake floated the idea of him coming to KC to visit her. After several attempts (ha!), Jordan gave in and Drake came to visit in December.

With Drake being from out of town, Jordan showed him around KC. They visited the WWI Memorial, Union Station, Crown Center, they rode the street car around the city and then ended with looking at Christmas lights that evening.

They both enjoyed their first date so Jordan returned the favor by visiting Drake in Wichita in January. They officially started dating during that trip: January 1st, 2022.

Drake and Jordan started trading off weekends to visit each other. By the end of April, they knew they wanted to get married. So, arrangements started being made for Drake to move to Kansas City.

In September, Drake moved to Overland Park and on October 9th, Drake proposed to Jordan at the WWI Museum (one of the places they visited on their first date).

They're so grateful they're living in the same city now and are so excited to start their lives together. Thank you for being a part of their story . They can't wait to celebrate with you on November 4th!
